Persistence of Vision 2013 was curated by Eileen Haring Woods in the Aldeburgh Lookout to coincide with the Aldeburgh Documentary Festival 2013, when Eileen was co-producer with the Festival Director Diana Quick. The exhibition included Eileen’s film, Blink and fellow artists Michael Woods contributed a phenakistoscope and Bill Jackson contributed a short film. The first iteration of I LOOK TO YOU, a still projection of the actress Diana Quick’s eyes on the Lookout tower, was made as a gift to one of my cultural heroes, author Simon Schama who attended the Festival.
